Fête de l'arbre de Noël des petits poulbots organisée par la République de Montmartre au Moulin Rouge, 18ème arrondissement, Paris.
The legendary Moulin Rouge cabaret is the birthplace of the modern form of cancan dance. Located on Boulevard de Clichy, the building can easily be identified by the red windmill on the roof, its posters were painted by Toulouse-Lautrec, and Yves Montand, Piaf and Sinatra liked to spend evenings here. The Moulin Rouge once had a reputation as a "first-class brothel. But after aristocrats and people of art began to visit the cabaret, it gradually turned into a fashionable establishment.
