OKINAWA, Japan (Sep. 25, 2007) Equipment Operator 2nd Class Gerald Flint uses a front end loader to fill a crater in a simulated runway on Kadena Air Base as part of a joint-training exercise with the Air Force. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 7 personnel partnered with Kadena airmen of the Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operation Ready Squadron Engineers for the exercise. NMCB-7 is deployed to the Far East to provide construction support to shore installations in support of the global war on terrorism.
