Winters, commander of Naval Special Warfare Command, delivers remarks during a memorial service for four members of the Naval Special Warfare community at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Ft. Story. Lt. (SEAL) Brendan John Looney, Senior Chief Cryptologic Technician David Blake McLendon, Special Warfare Operator 2nd Class (SEAL) Adam Olin Smith, Special Warfare Operator (SEAL) 3rd Class Denis Miranda, and five Soldiers from the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade died in Zabul Province, Afghanistan when the helicopter they were traveling in crashed Sept. 21.
