CRIMSON GIANT 28 Root large, globular, l"-iy2" in diameter, deep crimson outside. The white flesh holds its firmness well. EARLY SCARLET GLOBE, Medium Top 23 Similar to the foregoing except that top is of deeper green and root is globe-shaped. This Asgrow strain is uniform and attractive. EARLY SCARLET GLOBE, RICE'S Medium Top 24 Our pedigreed, originator's stock of this popular variety is outstanding, and well adapted to both field culture and greenhouse forcing. Roots olive- shaped, with medium top; bright scarlet, crisp, and of fine quality. EARLY SCARLET GLOBE, Short Top 23 A neat variety bred especially for the use of shippers and market growers. Root bright red and spherical, similar to Early Scarlet Globe, Medium Top; top shorter, yet strong enough to bunch well. Early Scarlet Turnip 26 Top small; root round, slightly top-shaped, with small tap root; 1" in diameter, dark scarlet-red; flesh pinkish white and crisp. French Breakfast 25 Top small, root oblong, thicker toward the bottom, dull scarlet with white tip; \y2" long, Y^'-Va" thick. Becomes pithy unless pulled at first maturity.
