Corporals with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit sit down in the troop mess decks of USS Peleliu before the start of their Corporals' Course graduation, March 15. Corporals' Course is a professional military education for enlisted Marines designed to give corporals the tools to become more effective small unit leaders. The 15th MEU is deployed as part of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group as a U.S. Central Command theater reserve force, providing support for maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
