Communication tents are staged August 6 at Camp Hansen to test and prepare gear for an upcoming training exercise. Artillery Marines with 12th Marine Regiment will travel to Yausubetsu Maneuver Area in Hokkaido, Japan, to participate in Artillery Relocation Training Program 14-2. ARTP is a regularly scheduled exercise that promotes regional stability and security, and ensures units stationed on Okinawa can uphold the Treaty of Mutual Cooperation and Security.
