NAVAL STATION GREAT LAKES, Ill., (May. 07, 2009) , Commander, Naval Service Training Command, Rear Adm. Cliff Sharpe looks at a picture of Dean Garrett, held by his daughter Pat Garrett Clary. The picture was taken when Garrett was in the Navy more than 60 years ago. Garrett, from Freeport, Ill., and President of the Illinois Chapter 1 Pearl Harbor Survivors Association, and other members of the chapter tour Recruit Training Command to see how recruits today go through the Navy's boot camp.
