BUSAN, Republic of Korea (Jan. 29, 2015) Cmdr. Chase Sargeant, commanding officer of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS John S. McCain (DDG 56), is greeted by a Republic of Korea naval officer after the ship arrived in Busan for a scheduled port visit. John S. McCain just concluded a series of bilateral training exercise with the Republic of Korea navy in international waters west of the Korean peninsula. The routine exercise focused on reinforcing teamwork and interoperability between the U.S. and Republic of Korea navies while giving Sailors the opportunity to sharpen their tactical skills.
