Mike Mullen thanks Navy Seabees assigned to Naval Construction Battalion Center Gulfport, for their hard work in support of Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. The CNO and Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) Terry Scott are traveling the gulf coast to get a personal assessment of damages caused by the hurricane and to thank the Sailors on ships and at naval facilities in Louisiana and Mississippi. The Navy's involvement in the Hurricane Katrina humanitarian assistance operations are led by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in conjunction with the Department of Defense.
