The Mayflower Hotel is a historic hotel in downtown Washington, D.C. The Mayflower Hotel was built by Allen E. Walker, Initially called the Hotel Walker, it was to have 11 stories, 1,100 rooms, and cost $6.2 million ($87,650,497 in 2016 dollars). It opened on February 18, 1925.
