Summary

SAPPORO, Japan (Jan. 30, 2014) Chief Builder Billy Harger, from Pearl City, Hawaii, and Cryptologic Technician (Collection) 2nd Class Alexianna Morton, from Antioch, Calif., shape a snow sculpture for the 65th Annual Sapporo Snow Festival. Both Sailors are members of the 2014 Navy Misawa Snow Team, which is in Sapporo to build a snow sculpture for the city's 65th annual snow festival. The team is attempting to create a 3-D version of the U.S. Navy Seabee's "Fighting Bee" logo in time for the festival's kick off. This is the 31st year that Naval Air Facility Misawa and its tenant commands have sent a delegation of Sailors to the festival to create a sculpture, and to and to serve as U.S. Navy goodwill ambassadors.
