
Chehalis, WA, December 11, 2007 -- A joint Preliminary Damage Assessment (PDA) team checking flood damage to the town's waste water facility. FEMA team leader Connie Johnson goes over damage estimates with city, state and county officials. PDA teams work gathering information on damage to local government infrastructure as part of the process of evaluating the aid needed. Washington State was hit with a severe storm causing flooding and mud slides. FEMA provides assistance to local governments as well as individuals in affected disaster areas. Leif Skoogfors/FEMA
