Canton, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion One (NMCB-1), fires a M-240B machine gun outside the camps perimeter during field exercise Operation Gulf Mist at Camp Shelby, Miss. The M-240B is a 7.62mm, ground-mounted, gas-operated, crew-served machine gun that is replacing the M-60 series machine guns currently in use today.
