Atlantic Ocean (Jun. 18, 2004) Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Geraldo Alverado, from New York City, N.Y., watches the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65) break-away following an ammunition offload with the fast combat support ship USS Detroit (AOE 4). Enterprise and Detroit are currently underway in support of Summer Pulse 2004 Exercise. Summer Pulse 2004 is the simultaneous deployment of seven aircraft carrier strike groups (CSGs), demonstrating the ability of the Navy to provide credible combat across the globe, in five theaters with other U.S., allied, and coalition military forces.
