Summary

Album page image number 38-43 (p. 37-42) Photographs of Emir Abdullah's feast for the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia include: Crown Prince arriving in Jerusalem (Julian's Way), Abdullah's army maneuvres (Amman), the clans gather at Amman, lining the road the Emirs are to pass, watching the Bedu horse racing, the Emir's servants and the feast tent, cooking three whole camels in a cauldron, and drawing up a camel on one of the big dishes.

Photographs of the road to Petra include: filling goat skin at fountain below Es Salt, "Birkat el Hadj," the Mecca pilgrim road; "shawahid" memorial stones at Petra, early morning at Petra, the Bdul cave dwelling Arabs, young Sheik of the Bdul, Bdul girls, the desert patrol at castle Wad er Rum, and the "anatomy" of the Hajin (camel) taken at Beersheba.
