Persian Gulf (Jul. 19, 2005) Aviation Machinists Mate 1st Class Natasja Vanderkleijn, assigned to the Indians of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Six (HS-6), secures a sling to the engine of an SH-60 Seahawk helicopter before removing it for maintenance aboard the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). The Nimitz Strike Group is currently on a regularly scheduled deployment and is participating in Maritime Security Operations (MSO). MSO deny international terrorists use of the maritime environment as a venue for attack or to transport personnel, weapons, or other material.
