Description: Imagery taken during the Apollo 4 Mission. The camera was facing away from the Earth and the frame shows only the black unlighted sky. The camera system was activated by a gravity switch set for G=3. It is possible that it was activated by the initial vibration at lift-off. Therefore times and altitudes are approximate but within one minute of true. Photo was taken during the third revolution. Film type was SO-368 Ektachrome, 70mm color, 76mm lens. G.E.T time was 4:28, Altitude was 7310 nautical miles (13,538 kilometers). Every tenth photographic is indicated. Intermediate exposures can be interpolated.
