Summary

Further informative given by Peter in the comments below:.The station was reconstructed into an island platform and opened in 1906. The tunnel beyond the station was opened up when the line was quadrupled and the new 4 tracks were brought into use in circa 1921...As there is no evidence of any reconstruction work having started, I would say this dates the photo to anytime between 1906 and about 1919.
