ARABIAN GULF (Aug. 10, 2017) An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the "Eightballers" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 8 transports supplies from the dry cargo ship USNS Carl Brashear (T-AKE7) during a replenishment-at-sea with the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz. Nimitz is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. While in the region, the ship and its carrier strike group are conducting maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners, preserve freedom of navigation and maintain the free flow of commerce.
