America's gift to Vermand. Warehouse on the outskirts of Vermand on the old Hindendburg line near St. Quentin, built by the American Red Cross after the armistice as a point of distribution for relief supplies to the repatriated citizens of this part of northern France. It has now been turned over to the citizens to help them provide shelter and relieve their housing problem
