Amer. Nurses, Somewhere-in-England off for an hour's walk along the tiny River Test, beloved of Florence Nightingale, who lived along its banks. Her grave is in a tiny village churchyard, not far from the Amer. Hospital (of which this picture shows the Red Cross Nurses Club). Most of the nurses have made the pilgrimage to the little churchyard many times. The Nightingale Tomb is plain and unimposing. On three sides of it are inscribed the names of Miss Nightingale's father, mother and sister, while the fourth bears the simple inscription, "F.N., born May 12, 1820; died August 13, 1910"
