A U.S. Marine with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Africa 20.1, Marine Forces Europe and Africa, conducts buddy rush movements with a Spanish Marine with 1st Landing Battalion, and a Spanish Army soldier with Airborne Brigade VI during Exercise Trueno in Chinchilla, Spain, Dec. 18, 2019. The purpose of this exercise was to focus on machine gun live fire, combat marksmanship, patrolling, and defensive operations. SPMAGTF-CR-AF is deployed to conduct crisis-response and theater-security operations in Africa and promote regional stability by conducting military-to-military training exercises throughout Europe and Africa.
