A U.S. Marine with Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment (2/5), drives a Light Armored Vehicle (LAV) at Crow Valley, Philippines, during Amphibious Landing Exercise 2015 (PHIBLEX 15), Oct. 2. The LAV is participating in a platoon movement to contact as part of the exercise. PHIBLEX 15 is an annual bilateral training exercise conducted with the Armed Forces of the Philippines in order to strengthen our interoperability and working relationships across a wide range of military operations from disaster relief to complex expeditionary operations.
