Persian Gulf (Dec. 22, 2004) A pilot, assigned to the Bulls of Strike Fighter Squadron Three Seven (VFA-37), prepares to climb up the boarding ladder to the cockpit of his F/A-18C Hornet prior to flight operations on the flight deck aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). Carrier Air Wing Three (CVW-3) embarked aboard Truman is providing close air support and conducting intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions over Iraq.
