A local Afghani boy from the village of Aroki, located in the Kapisa Province of Afghanistan, stands behind a barbed wire barrier as he waits in line to be seen by medical personnel, during a Medical Civil Action Program (MEDCAP) being held in his village. US Army (USA) Soldiers from the 48th Combat Support Hospital, along side US Air Force (USAF) Airmen from the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing (EAW) and Republic of Korea (ROK) Army Soldiers from the 924th Medical hospital, operate the programs, which provides free medical and dental care to residents of local villages as well as literature on the dangers of unexploded ordnance and information on why the US Military is here in their country
