ATLANTIC OCEAN (May. 15, 2009) A landing craft unit from Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 2 crashes through the surf as it approaches the well deck of the Whidbey Island-class amphibious dock landing ship USS Fort McHenry (LSD 43) during loading operations with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (22 MEU) and Beach Master Unit (BMU) 2 off the coast of North Carolina. Fort McHenry is currently on a scheduled deployment with the Bataan Amphibious Readiness Group (ARG) in support of maritime security operations in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility.
