OKINAWA, Japan (Aug. 28, 2015) A Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC), assigned to Naval Beach Unit (NBU) 7, offloads 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (31st MEU) equipment from the well deck of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20) as it is moored beside the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). Bonhomme Richard and Green Bay are assigned to the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group and are on patrol in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
