CHIRIQUI GRANDE, Panama (Oct. 01, 2010) A CH-46E helicopter from the Wild Geese of Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron (HMM) 744 lands aboard the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). Iwo Jima is supporting the Continuing Promise humanitarian and civic assistance mission. The assigned medical and engineering staff embarked aboard Iwo Jima are working with partner nations to provide medical, dental, veterinary, and engineering assistance in eight countries.
