NEPLY, Haiti (Jan. 22, 2010) A 3-year-old Haitian girl is examined at the Hope Estate Medical Clinic in Neply, Haiti. The clinic is attended by members of the medical team from the amphibious transport dock ship USS Carter Hall (LHD 50), providing medication, triage and medical evacuations to residents in the area after an earthquake damaged nearby hospitals. Carter Hall is supporting Operation Unified Response, a joint operation providing humanitarian assistance following a 7.0 magnitude earthquake that devastated the island nation Jan. 12.
