80-G-304837: Coast Guard Commander Jack Dempsey and Army Captain Jim Braddock, one time holders of the world’s heavy weight title, meet in the Hawaiian Islands where Braddock is stationed with the Army transportation corps and Dempsey on a tour of the Pacific bases and ships of his service. Both are acting as directors of recreation and physical education programs of their respective services. Photograph released March 1, 1945.
