Summary
The Bon Echo Inn was nearly completed by 1901 with many outbuildings. Brochures such as this were used to attract visitors from Canada and the US to Massanoga (Mazinaw Lake) to enjoy Bon Echo. This brochure suggests the Inn opened in 1903 for business...According to Merrill Denison, Mrs. Weston Price named the cliff Bon Echo and prior to the Price's acquisition the cliff had been called Massanoga Rock. This brochure was in circulation about 6 years before the sale of the Inn to Flora MacDonald Denison.
