Paul Lanzilotta, executive officer of the Navy’s forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), on the pier. The vice president’s tour of the ship and his remarks to U.S. and Japanese service members highlighted the administration’s continuing commitment to rebuilding the U.S. military and to its alliances in the region.
