150512-N-GR120-057 U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (May 12, 2015) – Sonar Technician (Surface) 1st Class Jonathon Ostrander and Operations Specialist 3rd Class Elizabeth Mills remove vari-nozzles from fire hoses after conducting hydrostatic testing in the hangar bay aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). Theodore Roosevelt is deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
