Cummins, Commander, Patrol and Reconnaissance Wing 2 (VPU-2), for heroic achievement in the rescuing of a 15-year-old girl. USN AM1 Cummins entered the water of the Ala Wai Canal in Honolulu, Hawaii (HI), in search of a car that went off a pier.
