Central Command Area of Operation (Oct. 24, 2002) -- Plane captain Aviation Electronics Technician 3rd Class Timothy Adams stands by in front of an EP-3E “Aries II” assigned to the "World Watchers" of Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron One (VQ-1) while conducting shutdown procedures. VQ-1 is based in Whidbey Island, Wash., and is on a regularly scheduled six-month deployment to the Middle East conducting missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
