MUSEUM NEWS NOTES 73 An interesting and valuable collection of Termites and nests from the Isthmus of Panama has been donated to the Museum by Mrs. A. Beaumont of Vineland, New Jersey, as a memorial of her husband, the late Joseph Beaumont, Esquire, who collected the specimens. The collection contains several thousand queens, males, workers and soldiers of several species of Termites, pre- served in alcohol and mounted in balsam on slides, together with specimens of nests, Termite tunnels and a number of other in- sects inhabiting Termite nests.
