Greer Garson (1904–1996)

Greer Garson was a British-American actress born on September 29, 1904, in Manor Park, London, England, and she passed away on April 6, 1996, in Dallas, Texas, USA. She was renowned for her elegant and poised performances in classic Hollywood films during the 1940s. Garson's career flourished at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), where she starred in several successful films, earning critical acclaim and numerous awards.

One of her most memorable roles was as Mrs. Miniver in the 1942 film "Mrs. Miniver," for which she won the Academy Award for Best Actress.
